Our host, Bob Tissing, Archivist at the Library, will tell us about the history and evolution
of the Presidential Library System, particularly the LBJ Library and its holdings. We’ll
visit the 10th floor Research Room, one of the stack levels where the historical documents
are stored, and look out over the Great Hall. Time permitting, we’ll visit the Audiovisual Archives where 600,000 photos documenting LBJ’s presidency are stored. There will be time before lunch to browse the museum on our own.
