Happy Spring! April is here and many of us have already taken our "winter trips" to bide the time for the warmer temperatures,
greening and flowering of Austin and environs. Some of our ANC friends took a wonderful cruise to Mexico and Honduras; others
went to far-away places such as Hawaii, Croatia, Turkey, Greece and Spain. And here? There are many new grandchildren to be
born during these coming few months. I was a May baby, but Maine's most famous springtime event is the arrival of black flies. Here we are treated to bluebonnets and other roadside lovelies. I can't think of too many cities where you can be stuck in traffic
with a veritable botanical garden outside your car window - Loop 360 in particular! So, for those of you who are experiencing
your first Spring in Austin, get out and enjoy this wonderful time - the rest of the "old-timers" will be right behind you!
