Place: Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail

The Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail, previously known as the Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail, has several excellent views of downtown Austin and Lady Bird Lake. The hike is 4 miles long and an easy trail. After the hike we will picnic in nearby Zilker Park. Don’t forget to bring a sack lunch. Dress for the weather,
wear a hat and walking shoes, and bring water and sunscreen.
Directions: Go south on Mopac (Loop 1) to the FM 2244/Rollingwood exit. U-turn at the light and head back towards Zilker Park. After passing the Zilker Botanical Garden on the left, take the next left on Stratford. Go about 0.4 mi to the parking lot on the right under the Mopac bridge. We will gather at the edge of the parking lot at the beginning of the trail.
