Enjoy a beautiful day paddling on a scenic stretch of the Colorado River. This is a class 1 level river and is easy. We’ll put in at Bastrop and get out about 6 miles downstream in 2 - 3 hours. About halfway, we’ll stop for a snack and stretch our legs on one of the islands. Vessel, lifejacket, paddle, and shuttle are provided. Bring: snack, water, hat, sunscreen and a change of clothes. Directions: Meet at Barton Creek Chase Bank at 2224 Walsh Tarlton. This is just north of Loop 360 on the west side of Walsh Tarlton at the top of the hill across from Barton Creek Square Mall. At the
intersection with Tamarron Blvd turn west into the bank lot. We’ll park in the lower lot next to the free-standing drive-thru facility.
