Austin Newcomers Club - Membership Page

Austin Newcomers is a non-profit social and recreational group established to welcome newcomers to Austin and connect them with others new to our city. We are over 550 member-households strong and are celebrating our 58th anniversary. The Austin Chronicle
has named our Club as the "Best Way to Get Acquainted With the Best of Austin."

Whether you are just moving to Austin, Texas, or have been a resident for quite awhile,
come join us. We have monthly luncheon meetings and welcome coffees, and many fun
and exciting activities. Choose from over 30 various interest groups include hiking, gardening,
dining, tours, computing, books, movies, dancing, bridge and many other card and board games. There are daytime, evening, weekday, and weekend activities for couples and singles.

Membership dues are just $40.00 annually plus a $5.00 initiation fee, and include all adults in the household. You may attend two activities as a guest prior to joining the group. With a paid membership comes The Welcome Mat, our monthly newsletter, as well as an annual members' directory. Membership is open to those who reside in the 787__ zip code and are willing to adhere to the by-laws of the club, including no solicitation. Once membership begins, it may continue as long as you wish, and after five years you will achieve Associate status. As an Associate you may still attend any of the activities and may serve as an Interest Group chair.
